About

Silvia is a sculptor who works in clay and direct plaster. She makes large garden sculptures reflecting a sense of stillness, as well as small, intimate pieces for indoors. Her work is either fired or cast into bronze or bronze & stone resins.

Silvia teaches Summer Sculpture weekends in a large barn in Sussex, working in clay from life models, and weekends of making portrait busts in clay.

She also runs a regular monthly Life Drawing Day at Charleston, Firle, Sussex.
